I’ve got a secret that can save you money. When it comes to the flower arrangements at weddings, people are spending loads of money. Let me tell you what I decided to do.

First of all, let me start by saying that my husband and I wanted to spend as little as possible when it came to our wedding. Even though my wedding was something that I had thought about for as long as I can remember, I was not one for tradition. We had a beach wedding, we had our reception a week later at our house with hamburgers and hot dogs, we had no ring bearer or flower girl, heck there was nothing traditional about our wedding, at all. The flowers were no exception.

As I said before, we went against all tradition, so there was no rehearsal, or rehearsal dinner. Instead, all of the girls went and got manicures and pedicures on the day before the ceremony. After we finished our Spa Day, we went to the local Sam’s Club, and purchased a huge amount of fresh flowers, in November, no less. The selection was enormous, especially for a winter month, and all of the flowers were beautiful. We had gone a few days prior to this and purchased some gorgeous ribbon to match my dress and the bridesmaid dresses.

The day of my wedding, while I spent time having my hair done, in the honeymoon suite by one of my bridesmaids, my mom and aunt spent time creating the most beautiful, and cost efficient bouquets you could ever imagine. All it took was a little time, and some trust in the people I love. With this new information, you, too, can save money, and have the exact flowers you dream of.
