Bridesmaids dress ideas for the beach:
Romantic setting:
Imagine having your wedding on the beach the ocean breeze, the sound of the waves crashing in the background, and the soft sand squishing between your toes. Is there a more romantic setting? If there is, there are not many. When having a wedding on the beach there are many things to consider when you dress and not only for the bride and groom. The bridesmaids must also be considers. The mood is set with the backdrop of the beach and the ocean, now it is time to take care of the bridesmaids dress and other attire.
Dressing the bridesmaid:
It is important to remember that even in the summer the beach has a breeze that can be chilly on any given day. Therefore, when thinking of a dress for the bridesmaids make sure you include a shoulder wrap to match their dresses. Because of the color of the sand light beige or light tan would go well. The dress itself should have thin spaghetti straps; the dress should flow with the breeze. A dress that is tight around the bust, knee length, and made of a shiny material would go nice with the beach setting. The shoulder warp will match, with a bit of long fringe on each end of the wrap.
Shoes:
Wearing shoes on the beach is hard enough. Trying to wear dress shoes would be a nightmare. This is one time no shoes would be the best for everyone. Being barefoot in the sand is normal. The cool sand beneath their feet and squishing between their toes will be a welcome consideration.
Hair:
Again, there is normally a breeze coming from the ocean, and this is murder on an up do hairstyle. At the same time due to the breeze, you do not want hair flying in the bridesmaids face during the ceremony. The bridesmaids who have long hair should pull their hair away from their face. You do not want a French braid, by the time the ceremony is over strands of hair will be flying out of place, and will not look nice. A ponytail that is secured with clips and hair spray, curled, and well sprayed will still fly, though it will stay out of their face, and it will still look nice after the ceremony. If some of your bridesmaids have very short hair, make sure they spay it well, their hair will still fly, but with short hair there is not much you can do about it. Hats should not be considered. Your bridesmaids will be more concerned about holding on to their hats than what is going on during the ceremony.
